Medical Panel featuring cardiologist, Dr. Anas Alomar, Jayce Pruitt and

Healthcare Panel:
Anas Alomar, MD, is an experienced cardiologist who has been treating patients since 2012. Dr. Alomar earned his medical degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. Following graduation, Dr. Alomar completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship from Indiana University School of Medicine. At Methodist Southlake Medical Center, Dr. Alomar is the Chair of the Department of Medicine and Medical Director of Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. He also serves on the Methodist Southlake Medical Executive Committee.
Jayce Pruitt is an Area Innovation Manager for Medtronic’s Gastrointestinal Operating Unit. She has been with Medtronic for almost four years, and before that, she was gaining her BA at the University of Oklahoma. She currently manages the state of Texas and is tasked with the adoption of GI Genius. Jayce is passionate about her work with GI Genius, as it is the first FDA-authorized device in gastroenterology leveraging AI (CADe) for the detection of colorectal polyps during colonoscopy. Jayce works with hospitals, Ambulatory Service Centers, and clinics across the state, fighting against colorectal cancer, a highly preventable and beatable disease when caught early. When Jayce is not working, she is spending time with her family at home in Canton, TX. Jayce is married to DJ, a Garland Police Officer, and together they have their 6-month-old, Fallon. Jayce lives every day choosing joy, as James 1:2-4 so clearly commands.
Benson P. Chacko, FACHE, serves as President of Methodist Southlake Medical Center. In his role he provides day to day leadership for the hospital, collaboratively implements strategies, and efficiently manages hospital operations to maximize quality. Benson’s healthcare career spans two decades in various areas to include human resources, project management, ambulatory care, business development & strategy, physician relations and hospital operations. In 2018 he joined Methodist Health System as the Vice President of Operations at the systems’ flagship hospital Methodist Dallas Medical Center (MDMC), a 592-bed tertiary care facility. There he led operational improvements in many areas and expanded key service lines to include the construction of a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit, renovations of multiple patient care units and enhanced ancillary services. In his three years at MDMC he was responsible for implementing $82M of investments to enhance patient care and hospital operations. Through his executive leadership he ensured the delivery of high quality care while maintaining efficient operations. Benson’s passion for the Methodist mission is paramount and with his growth oriented style is committed to Methodist Health System.
